Congress will soon hold a series of hearings on copyright law reform. Advances in technology, the emergence of new business models, and changes in the marketplace have left some key elements of the copyright laws outdated. This panel will discuss the problems with current copyright law for content creators, users and service providers; what changes need to be made; and what effect these changes will have on the future of music and the business surrounding it.
